Payment and personal information submitted through www.marianshrine.org is always safe, using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software which encrypts all personal information, including one’s credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

Privacy
The Marian Shrine and the Salesians of Don Bosco respect your privacy and do not give, trade, or sell your name or personal information to any other organization. We use the information you provide about yourself when contacting us or placing an order only to complete your request or fulfill that order. We do not share this information with outside parties.

When you provide us with your contact information you are given the option to join FlockNote which is the forum we use to communicate with those on our mailing list. If you do sign up, you will receive periodic mailings from the Marian Shrine and the Salesians of Don Bosco offering opportunities to join us in prayer and to have your intentions remembered in our Masses. They may also include news about special events at the shrine, retreat center, or youth center, the availability of enrollment cards, opportunities to request memorials, and news about the religious articles and books we offer through our gift shop. You can remove yourself from the list at any time by contacting us.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. These addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. When you provide us with your email address you are given the opportunity to join our FlockNote email list as described in the previous paragraph.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
