Mass Intentions

A beautiful way to honor a deceased loved one, someone in need of special prayers, to celebrate an anniversary, or for a special intention is to have a single Mass celebrated at the Marian Shrine. We are blessed to have several Salesian priests in residence.  They celebrate the Holy Mass daily and are willing to offer a Mass for your intentions..

ANNOUNCED MASSES
The Mary Help of Christians Chapel, the Shrine Chapel, has Holy  Mass at noon every Monday through Saturday and two Masses on Sundays, at 11:00 am and 12:30 pm.

The intentions for the Masses at the Shrine Chapel are announced, published through the Marian Shrine Flocknote platform and displayed monthly in the chapel lobby.   The stipend for an announced Mass is $20.00.  To request an announced Mass offered at the Shrine Chapel, call 845-947-2200 ext:  302.  The number of announced Masses are limited, so it's good to plan a few months ahead.

UNANNOUNCED MASSES
 Masses offered by the Salesian priests at their residence or elsewhere can be requested.  The stipend is $15.00 per Mass.  To request an unannounced Mass, use the form at the bottom of this page to make your request.
GREGORIAN MASSES
 Gregorian Masses, 30 Masses said on 30 consecutive days for one deceased person, can be offered.  The stipend for these is $300.00.  To request a set of Gregorian Masses, call the office at  845-947-2200 ext:  302.
